Security & HIPAA Compliance.
“Nolvium is designed for HIPAA-regulated workflows and provides a Business Associate Agreement for eligible customers before live clinical charts are processed.”
“Uploaded clinical documents are processed in transient execution memory and are not retained in the application’s permanent document store after the session ends, subject to documented operational logs, security controls, and any files intentionally exported by the user.”
Clinical charts, ERA/835 remittance files, and denial documentation are processed strictly in transient execution memory buffers. Files are intended to be purged upon session completion and are not saved to a permanent application database.
A Business Associate Agreement is available for eligible covered entities, practices, billing services, and other customers before live PHI processing.
All network traffic is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3. Where temporary storage or caching is required during active processing, AES-256 encryption at rest is enforced.
Nolvium enforces strict data-use agreements with subprocessor API models. Customer PHI and uploaded medical record text are explicitly excluded from third-party model training.
Role-based access controls (RBAC), multi-factor authentication (MFA), strict tenant isolation, and session timeout parameters prevent unauthorized access.
System audit logs record access timestamps, user IDs, and operational events without storing clinical document content in cleartext.
Nolvium maintains a documented incident response policy and maintains a published list of enterprise subprocessors hosted in SOC 2 Type II certified cloud environments.
Users maintain complete control over exported appeal packets. Document retention parameters can be configured according to customer organizational policy.
“Nolvium supports administrative, billing, and documentation-review workflows. It does not provide medical diagnosis, replace clinical judgment, provide legal advice, or guarantee payer reimbursement.”
